Carla and Paul got married this summer and it was such a beautiful day!!
Carla worked so hard throughout a pretty tough year to get everything perfect for their big day, so I was just thrilled for them that everything went off perfectly without a hitch. When she came downstairs in her beautiful gown, I have to admit that she brought a tear to my eye... one of the most gorgeous brides ever.
The ceremony was held at the beautiful Langtons Registry office.. and it coincided with a little celebration that the local Registras were having for their long standing colleague and friend who was retiring after many years of hard work there. She posed for a picture with her last ever bride and groom, and was given an emotional send off by her lovely friends. Just another moving moment on such a special day!
The rain came in and out all day, which made for some really moody skies and fun pictures!
Eventually we found ourselves back at the lovely Woolsten Manor, where they had their reception. The highlight of the night for me was the brilliant suprise singing waiter, who made a crashingly good show of things when he pretended to fall over and break things in front of everyone.... before leading everyone in a really fun sing along and conga!
I really loved this wedding, and the love, laughter and friendship that radiates from Carla and Paul is a joy to behold. I wish you both even more joy, happiness, laughter and fun in your future!
Here's a small selection of some of my faves from your beautiful day.
Enjoy!
