I had the pleasure of photographing my lovely South African friend Geraldine Viljoen and her gorgeous family last month.    Geraldine is one of the top Permanent artists in the country, and she has a gorgeous clinic in Central London.  Over the past year, I've been photographing some of her amazing, inspirational clients for her website, which you can find here:

Like me, Geraldine and her husband are South African, and they just love London!  They wanted a lifestyle portrait session in London with some famous Landmarks in the background, and some pretty park photos where their two beautiful twin girls could run around.  

We were very lucky with the weather, as it was just before it started raining... and kept on raining for weeks!  Thank you for bringing some South African sunshine into my life Viljoen Family; here are a few of my favorite shots from our morning together.

I've had lots of lovely little ones in the studio in the last few weeks!!  There seems to be lots of newborn twins coming to see me too, double the cuteness! I absolutely love newborn photography, because every baby is completely different!  The poses that we choose completely depend on little one, and their personality.  Bringing something along to the shoot, such as a favorite teddy, blanket, or even a guitar, can also make the photos extra special and personal to your family.

I absolutely love photographing little ones, but I wanted to create something fresh and different, moving away from the standard plain studio background... so something magical and unique.  

Since moving from my home photography studio in Loughton to my brand new photography studio in Woodford Green, I've been trying to think of something special to do with my new space.  With lots of help from the incredible Mandy from The Tinker Lady, we created a beautiful woodland set, along with a Peter Pan style outfit for little boys, two stunning sets of fairy wings and a gorgeous matching dress for girls.  I even have a spare set of plain white wings if mums want to get involved too!!

From newborns, sitters, (babies that can sit up unaided) to older kids, and even mums and dads, this is the perfect opportunity to create a beautiful, unique image of your little one for the wall, or just for Facebook!
